Read local spool file error 00002

Step 3: Click the Run button next to Printer to scan your printer for any problem and fix it. If the Windows 11 printer problem still appears, you can try this way by following the steps below.

Step 2: Go to the Print Spooler service, double-click it to open the Properties window. Step 3: Under the General tab, click Stop to stop this service. Step 1: Open Control Panel and view all the items by Category. Printer Spooler not working with an error is sometimes caused by outdated drivers. Step 2: Expand Printer queues , right-click on each printer and choose Update driver. Step 3: Choose the first option to let Windows automatically search for updated software and install it.

To fix your issue, you can remove all the printing jobs and then try to print documents again. I get virtually the same as everyone else here and it has been the same way for two years now! I look after over a hundred users and have 55 users on Citrix. This batch file has also been set so that it is the program that the spooler uses if it fails for any reason, obviously it tries three time and then hangs.

When it hangs I have to physically go in and do it, restart the server and hey-ho, it works again until next time! If anyone does read these old posts - especially the Windows Printing team I would love an answer or to start off a new thread?

Enjoy the day! Brian aka: Fanflame. I tried ntsd -p [PID for spoolsv] -g -G and ended up with an error indication that indicated: The call to LoadLibrary ext failed with error 2. The call to LoadLibrary uext failed with error 2. Is this related to your help and can you help me? So, after the tip off about the FP and FP I watched with some interest, as these files remained in there, and then at some indeterminate and variable time, the files would clear off.

During this time, the host computer could still print without problem. As soon as the files disappeared and you could do that by stopping and restarting the Service , you could print to the printer.

There seemed to be no rhyme or reason as to what the time interval of deletion of the files would be. I was also told that the network owners had tried to fix the problem by switching the printer from one computer to the other, but it the problem just moved from one computer to the other! So, what has to be done to automatically remove these offending files after the printing has been done? Reply to author.

California: Thank you so much for your post. I could run each query and then use the Export dialogue in SQL Developer to write them to files, but that's cumbersome, particularly when this needs to be done for multiple files every day.

There are two rows returned by the query. Where should I look to investigate further? Add a new line in the script and try again. I was running SQL Developer 3.
