The Humax EPG etc looks very old fashioned going back from Sky but it worked perfectly well although seemed a bit slow, I suppose if we don't go with Sky it would probably be worth upgrading to one of the latest Humax boxes? If you access the epg using Schedule then Red you don't get the delay as a new epg is downloaded.
Learning the epg short cuts like tapping in a channel number to jump to a specific channel is very fast. The CF adds scheduling using a web browser and much improved searches. The HD picture on the Foxsat is a tad soft. You need to install Nowsters patch to make HD recordings streamable.
Thanks, I actually though the HD picture was very good watching the Olympic channels, thought it looked as sharp as my Sky box. Can't say about a Sky box, never had one. Only 1 glitch; when I pause live TV and then resume, it always adds subtitles and then it won't let me turn them off until I go back to live broadcast. Is this fixed in the current v4.

The subtitle issue is a known problem with the Humax software it's not related to the CF. Generally if you tune to a effected channel and toggle subtitles on and off a few times ending with off the problem goes away except if the channel is a BBC one moved using the customised channels option. For some strange reason the fix doesn't work for moved channels.
